LOVING all things lace this season. Also loving the abundance of denim that's in every spring collection on the shelves right now! From skirts to pants to dresses to shirts and blazers, denim and lace come in all shapes and forms these days. They're both especially adorable when paired together. It creates a look that's a little country, a little girly and all sorts of trendy. All things lace and denim are definitely a must have in your closet for spring!

Monday's Must Haves: Favorite Spring Outfit

I think Spring 2012 might be my favorite fashion season yet. I don't think there's a trend or a collection that I'm not obsessed with. I've put together a combination of all of my favorite things for this season and created an oufit that is fun, flirty and so on-trend. Any girl would look adorable rocking it any time of day!

Loving this girly, lace and crochet top from Zara. So fun and flirty for the warm spring weather!

Loving these tangerine high-waisted denim cutoffs from Joe's Jeans. Tangerine is a HUGE color trend for 2012 and is a perfect pop of color on your gams! The neutral colored lace top adds a great girly touch to the shorts.

LOVE this blue leather belt from J.Crew paired with the tangerine denim shorts. Such a great color contrast!

This straw fedora from Francesca's Collections is a great accessory when you're having a bad hair day any day! Love the edgy, summery look a straw hat creates!

There's nothing that says spring more than turquoise jewelry. I'm definitely a sucker for all things turquoise stone and tarnished silver. These pieces from Free People and Club Monaco are the perfect accessories for a pop of color and expression of spring. Paired up against the blue belt and tangerine shorts, it's nothing short of a great outfit of fun spring colors!

LOVE this handbag from Fossil. Such a great leather bag in an amazing color.

This pair of heels from Vince Camuto is the perfect way to top off this trendy spring look. Loving the brown sandal and sky-high heel. So chic and as usual, Vince Camuto is a genius.

Valentine's

Red and pink are two colors that used to be fashion suicide when paired together. Now, the two hues are all over runways and in spring collections everywhere. It's one of my favorite color combinations this season and is such a fun way to wear girly, statement-making outfits. Forget the old rules about clashing -  all shades of red and pink are an absolute must in your closet. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, nothing is more festive, fitting and completely on-trend than pairing the holiday's signature colors together for a great night out with your sweetheart!

Monday's Must Haves

Naturally, I spend about 12 hours a day shopping looking at clothes online. Ok, maybe not 12 hours, because that would insinuate I have no job, life, social skills or money, but I definitely do my share. When I have spare time I tend to navigate to cute little boutiques around town, the mall, Nordstrom Rack, maybe I roam around Target for hours...I mean you name it, I'm probably a frequent visitor. Kind of embarassing. BUT, my point is, I'm constantly seeing things that I like and want to purchase but don't because my husband's got a tight grip and eye on where our money goes. And rightfully so...I may or may not have a slight problem. So, through my online surfing to store visits, here are some things that I'm seeing and kind of loving right now. I thought I'd share these fabulous finds with you.

TOP:

This cotton tee from Gap. It comes in amazing neon colors, is lightweight, comfortable and is so perfect for spring. SO cute with an arm full of bracelets, cropped jeans and a wedge shoe or some cute denim shorts and sandals.

DRESS:

This sweater dress from LOFT. So casual and effortless and just so. stinkin'. cute. I love the coral and navy combo.

SHOE:

I am beyond obsessed with this shoe from Steve Madden. Love the neutral, earthy tones.

OUTERWEAR:

This color-blocked cardigan from Anthropologie is a-maz-ing.

ACCESSORY:

This necklace from Kendra Scott. Aqua tones are in for spring and I'm obsessed with all of her jewelry. Perfect statement piece to dress up a casual tee or spice up a flirty dress.

DENIM:

I LOVE these yellow skinnies from Madewell. Such a fun way to wear color for spring. I'd totally wear them with a loose fitting grey tank and a fun heel.

BAG:

This bag is going to be my next Michael Kors purchase. It's so clean and chic looking and I can't get enough of it. The same bag in white is also amazing.

Color, Color

One of my favorite trends for the spring right now is color. Color blocking..color popping, all forms. It's in every store, every spring collection and all over the runways. Let's be honest here, I love a bright, over-the-top and tacky, fun & colorful outfit from time to time. Who doesn't? This spring, it's all about the bright, vibrant hues. Nothing is more on-trend than pairing all shades and prints together to create a look that's guaranteed to be an attention-grabber. The more color, the better. I'm pretty sure the brighter you look the happier you'll feel..at least that's what I seem to think. Some of my absolute favorite pieces for spring come from Madewell and J.Crew. Both lines are focused around color right now, and both have vibrant, eye-catching collections for the spring. Seriously, indulge in some colorful, bright new pieces. I promise you'll be just as obsessed with your bright colorful outfits as I am!
